Roswitha began her career as a set/costume designer in opera, theatre and dance. Since the millennium she has been developing her own ideas and interests as an artist, writer and director and has founded her company, Mistress of Time. She has produced, written and directed multi-disciplined opera performances in both theatrical and academic realms, presented at the Linbury Studio, Royal Opera House, Tête à Tête Opera festival and at Universities.
She has published a book of poems while directing and co-producing dynamic, immersive opera and sound projects about honey bee swarms, highlighting the swarms’ extraordinary way of democratic/collective decision making, shown at Tête à Tête Opera festival, the Brunel tunnel and The Shunt, London.
Roswitha presently focuses on finishing a poetic modernist novella The Future Was Bright and is looking forward to a two month writer/artist residency on the island of Ilhabela, Brazil.
