Short biography
Winner of three Tony awards for PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, SUNSET BOULEVARD and FOSSE, Andrew Bridge's work has been seen around the world in these and many other productions.
Andrew Bridge designed SIEGFRIED AND ROY'S Las Vegas spectacular and BUFFALO BILL'S WILD WEST SHOW at Disneyland France.
Other credits include SINATRA, ACORN ANTIQUES; ABSOLUTELY!{perhaps}; SINGIN' IN THE RAIN; SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER; JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT; ASPECTS OF LOVE; FIVE GUYS NAMED MOE; OLIVER!; TORVILL AND DEAN'S WORLD TOUR and the operas CARMEN, CAV + PAG, AÏDA, LA BOHÈME, MADAM BUTTERFLY and TOSCA at the Royal Albert Hall, London. For dance he has designed SLEEPING BEAUTY with English National Ballet.
He also designed the lighting for concerts by Shirley Bassey, Julie Andrews, Tommy Steele and Bing Crosby. For several years he was an award-winning consultant to the design company Imagination.
