Short biography
Joanna Parker designs for theatre include productions for West Yorkshire Playhouse and Salisbury Playhouse and the Edinburgh Fringe; THE NOISE OF TIME - Theatre de Complicité at the Lincoln Center New York, the Barbican Centre London and European Festivals; as well as designs for the Young Vic, the Gate, Hampstead Theatre, the Bridewell Theatre, Clean Break Theatre Company and the Beckett Centre in Dublin.
For opera her work includes designs for: Scottish Opera; Guildhall School of Music and Drama; Opera Theatre Company, Dublin, English Touring Opera, Brno and the Royal College of Music; for the Royal Opera Handel's GIULIO CESARE and a site specific community opera at the Corn Exchange, Cambridge; and for the Knack at the ENO Works.
Dance designs have included work for the Cholmondeleys, Shobana Jeyasingh Dance Company and London Contemporary Dance Theatre.
