Short biography
Aaron holds a Bachelor of Theatre Design (National Institute of Dramatic Art, Australia). He began his career at Bazmark Inq assisting the designer Catherine Martin. On the strength of this collaboration he went on to work on the set design for the feature film Moulin Rouge directed by Baz Luhrmann.
He has assisted UK's leading designers: Peter J Davison, Mark Thompson, Anthony Ward and Paul Brown.
Recent credits: The Lighthouse (Psappha - Buxton Festival + tour); La traviata (Riverside Opera); Opera Scenes (Birkbeck College); Orpheus and Eurydice and La Bohème (Blackheath Halls); Eugene Onegin (Riverside Opera); Truckstop (Edinburgh Festival and UK Tour); The Beaver Coat (Finborough Theatre); Steam (The White Bear; Courtyard Theatre); Black & White Sextet and I'm An Asylum Seeker...Get Me Into Here (Rosemary Branch).
Additional design work: An illustrated poem for Eugene Onegin (ROH); opening night party (Fox Studios Australia); launch of Collette Dinnigan's spring/summer fashion collection (Louvre, Paris).
Future plans in 2010 include: Trouble in Tahiti (Psappha – tour and QEH); Brassed off in Lichfield.
