Born in Dublin, Colm trained at the Irish National College of Dance and The Royal Ballet school, London. He then went on to join the Irish National Ballet and the Vienna Festival Ballet.
He’s danced in many productions with the Royal Opera, English National Opera, Welsh National Opera, Opera Ireland, Glyndebourne and Garsington opera as well as opera companies in Antwerp, Athens, Dallas, Dublin, Geneva, Lille, Paris, Oviedo.
Colm has worked as revival choreographer on Die Meistersinger von Nurnburg (Glyndebourne), Orlando (Lille opera, Paris, Dijon), Les Troyens (Royal Opera), Andrea Chenier (Royal Opera, National Centre For Performing Arts, Beijing), Agrippina (Liceu, Barcelona), Manon (Dallas, Buenos Aires), Die Entfuhrung Aus Dem Serail (Glyndebourne), Traviata (WNO, Geneva, Teatro Real, Madrid & Liceu, Barcelona).
Future engagements include La Traviata for Scottish Opera and choreographing a new production of Gloriana for the Teatro Real in Madrid.
