Clare O'Donoghue

Lighting Designer

Clare has designed lighting for theatre, opera and dance throughout the UK and abroad. In 2012 she was part of the team creating the Olympic Rings for the London Olympics Opening Ceremony.

As well as designing her own work, Clare has toured throughout the UK and Europe with various companies including Paddock Productions, Lightworks and Seabright Productions, and has also recreated opera lighting for several lighting designers. She was the  Deputy Lighting Manager at Glyndebourne Festival Opera before going freelance and continues to combine lighting design with working for Howard Eaton Lighting as a freelance production engineer, as well as making and installing lighting effects for West End and international theatre shows and events.
