Lighting Designer

Andrew Bridge has won three TONY Awards for his lighting designs: Fosse, Sunset Boulevard (both also Ovation Awards Los Angeles) and for The Phantom Of The Opera – also the Drama Desk and Outer Circle Critics’ Awards (NY), Dora Mavor Award (Canada) and Los Angeles Critics’ Award. Phantom has now been seen in six continents.

In Las Vegas, Andrew Bridge designed the lighting for The Phantom Of The Opera and Siegfried and Roy; and for Euro Disney’s Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show.

Other London credits include Showboat at the Royal Albert Hall, SinatraAcorn Antiques (+DVD); Absolutely! {perhaps}, directed by Franco Zeffirelli; Fosse (also Broadway, US and European tours); Saturday Night Fever (also Broadway and US tour, Argentina and Spain); Sunset Boulevard (and USA, Canada, Australia, Germany); Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (and world tours); Five Guys Named Moe (and world tours); Aspects of Love (and Broadway, Drama Desk Award Nomination, Canada and Australia); TimeOliver! (also Broadway); Torvill and Dean (world tour).

Operas include Cavalleria Rusticana and I Pagliacci, Carmen, Aïda, La Bohème, Madam Butterfly and Tosca at the Royal Albert Hall.

Andrew Bridge has been Lighting Designer for concert artists: Julie AndrewsShirley BasseyBing Crosby and Tommy Steele. He lit many international projects for IMAGINATION and was responsible for floodlighting the LLOYDS OF LONDON headquarters (National Lighting Award). He designed the lighting for the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2002 Commonwealth Games.
